​ The New Face of Philippine Culture and Arts : Dr. Felimon B. Blanco is Going Beyond   A young boy from Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur, rose to prominence to be one of the country's influential and well-cultured men. From having an interview on  The Bottomline  with Boy Abunda, a Philippine  current affairs  talk -reality  show, to a guest appearance on PTV 4's Rise and Shine Pilipinas, a Philippine morning broadcast, and even an oath taking with President  Roa  Rodrigo Duterte in the MalacaƱang  palace.  This man is Dr. Felimon B. Blanco. He presently serves as the Head of the NCCA National Committee on Dramatic Arts, representing southern Mindanao. Dr. Blanco compares his life journey to a gasket "bamboo raft" that starts upstream in the mountain and flows down to the coast  as its destination.  Local culture and arts have always enthralled him since he was a child. Some may dismiss self-love as unimportant, but it is one of the most crucial matters you can do for yourself.   Acceptance of oneself isn't always easy.    Embracing your mental anguish and letting yourself to be open and honest is a huge change toward self-love.Bearing a lot of unpleasant emotional responses such as envy, anger, and fury can be detrimental. We must start to tolerate not only the feelings which lead to love, happiness, and serenity in our life, but rather the ones that lead to dread, anxiety, and rage.   We choose love the same as we choose rage, bitterness, or anguish. Once we forgive, we can truly heal from it. So forgive yourself.   Always keep in mind that we have the option of choosing love.   Many people believe that self-love is self-centered.
